Policy & Shipping Updates

Shipping to the United States is partially affected by new regulations and mandatory customs procedures, so slight delays are to be expected.

De-minimis was eliminated for all shipments importing into the United States (US) regardless of origin or value on the 29th of August. All shipments now require entry to Customs Border Protection (CBP) and may result in duty, tax and brokerage fees owing. Please insert a valid e-mail and phone number upon purchasing, so the customs process can be as fast and as efficient as possible.

Whilst most countries in Europe - including ours - still cannot use USPS postal services, international shipping to the US will be assured by UPS going forward and at least until we can provide an option with USPS. An update will be posted here when that is possible, aswell as reflect on your checkout cart. There is still no telling on when that will be possible.

International shipping is offered, always with proper tracking information as soon as items are dispatched.

MC 3D ships worldwide, with minimal exclusions. The only imposed restrictions come from the limitations of our shipping partners. The list of excluded countries or territories as of today include the United States of America (read above), Yemen, Montserrat, Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Russia, Ukraine and Bielorrusia.

Orders are produced as they are processed and paid. There is no physical inventory and production takes a few days depending on the model category. Usually, 1:1250 models take 1-2 work days to be setup, Standard models take 2-4 work days, and Premium models might take from 3 to 7 work days. Please rest assured any order is treated with the same priority and worked with the same intensity and passion as the next one. The MC 3D promise is to ship models within the intervals provided and have them reach your doorstep in an acceptable timeframe.

Since 01 January 2025, as per personal decision and for logistic reasons, MC 3D is closed to single-unit personal requests for models that are not in the catalog unless they meet internal order thresholds. Multi-unit orders can still be arranged if they meet a set number of units and under quotation - refer to the contact page for that.

We are, though, open to suggestions and you may submit them in the contact tab - your suggestions are kept in an internal document sheet and used in future brainstorms and viability studies if said ship has been suggested multiple times.

MC 3D is open and excited to work with cruise lines, industry partners or producers. Mass production of any given model in the catalog or a different ship not yet in our catalog is possible and subject to a quote. We are located in Funchal, Madeira Island, situated in the Madeira archipelago which is portuguese territory and a popular port of call for cruise ships. There is no physical store, and the business is based entirely out of e-commerce. If you're ever in Madeira, personal delivery can be arranged at no extra charge.

Shop confortably! MC 3D accepts returns up until 30 days after you receive the item. The buyer is responsible for the cost of return, including but not limited to shipping fee or protection materials added. The buyer is also responsible for any damage the model might face during the return trip.
